Walter G. Straub

Walter G. Straub, co-founder of ComTeam AG, retired in mid-2018 from his active work as a consultant and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of ComTeam AG.

Born in 1945. After my youth in Berlin, I studied mechanical engineering, business administration and psychology. in Frankfurt and Darmstadt to study mechanical engineering, I started my professional career with organizational planning and strategy development at Siemens AG in Munich. In the Quickborn team, i deepend my experience as a co-partner in the development of the moderation method and in consulting.

Together with my wife, we founded ComTeam in 1974 – also in order to to be able to combine work and bringing up children.

My work at ComTeam focused on the following areas systemic consulting in the design of change processes, i.e. project construction project design, cultural development, participation management, conflict negotiation, supervision and coaching of decision-makers. For over 45 years I have accompanied organizations and executives in the design of change, the last 10 years only the top management in finding clarity about their own role and the challenges they face.

I handed over my long-standing role as Chairman of the Supervisory Board in July 2018 and thus also ended my active working life for ComTeam completely. I am now enjoying a new phase of my life.
