Sonja Prieth

As a consultant, I am passionate about supporting reflection and change processes in which individuals, teams, groups and organizations can explore and find the paths that are right for them. My approach is always resource- and solution-oriented; respect for the diversity of people and thus also for their ways of seeing and reacting is one of the basic attitudes on which my consulting work is based. I am sensitive to factors that can enable and facilitate communication or block and impede it.

The stages of my professional development are very diverse and sometimes surprising in their combination. I was able to train my holistic view of systems and my socio-political awareness during my social work studies (diploma and master’s degree) and in practice. As an author and designer of radio programs for many years (including for ORF radio Ö1), I gained insight into exciting life and work realities and developed my ability to change perspectives. Educational, research and cultural work have always given me new, creative approaches to the burning issues of our time. All these experiences and connections are sources for my work as an academic supervisor/coach, mediator and facilitator.

I find rest, relaxation and enjoyment alone in nature as well as in being together with my loved ones. Stimulating, honest conversations as well as cultural impulses and activities are important foods for me.
