Born in Frankfurt am Main in 1961 and raised there. I gained my initial experience in a commercial data centre back when I was still at school, and have taken this experience with me on my professional path from data processing to IT. I worked as a team leader on European software projects at the company headquarters for several years until I discovered the excitement of sales.
For over 26 years, starting as a sales representative right through to becoming regional sales manager, I got to know all the highs and lows in this field – both in medium-sized companies and international corporations (Memorex Telex, EMC, Microsoft). Pressure increases resistance – and that is rarely a recipe for sustainable (sales) success.
Sales consulting, management and corporate culture are my main areas of focus, which I underpin with a fundamental systemic understanding. My motto is: "The future is made with people."
