Senior Consultant, Trainer
My contact details:
Born in the Ruhr in 1959 and raised there, I still live in Schwerte with my family today. I worked in the HR department of a major German bank for over 30 years and was mainly involved in training. As a management trainer, and above all as a management consultant, I was responsible for the selection and development of managers. I gained my own managerial experience as the person responsible for education and training, where my main tasks included the design and implementation of development measures for managers.
My current freelance work centres around the provision of training and consultancy services for individuals, groups and teams on a wide range of topics including team development, conflict resolution and time management, self-management and stress management. I particularly like working with experience-based methods, allowing participants to draw on their everyday life so that they can develop new perspectives and paths for themselves.
I advise managers on everything from their journey to their first or new management task through to the implementation and overseeing of joint team events. In this area, I focus on cooperation and communication in particular, as well as on the successful handling of planned and necessary changes.
As a trainer, I also use a wide range of different methodological measures such as seminars on public speaking, presentation skills and project management in which I attach particular importance to the subjects of "treating with respect" and "open and clear communication". I also still work for the Frankfurt School of Finance and Management as a lecturer on the subjects of personnel, communication, leadership and methodological expertise.
I continue to be hugely fascinated by people in different situations and at different stages of their (professional) life, so I always enjoy guiding, advising and supporting them.
